Motion: Wine Park – Status Update
Submitted by: Council Member Dr. Limor Zקr Gutman, “Lema'an HaMoshava” Faction
The Wine Park complex includes a residential area (currently occupied), commercial areas, wineries, tourism, and hotels. Most of the lots have been sold at auction, with the exception of those within the expanded ecological corridor.
In accordance with the complex’s zoning plan, the Wine Park has a management committee composed of representatives from the local authority and the Israel Land Authority.
Given the complex’s importance as a central commercial anchor in Zichron Ya’akov and its significant contribution to strengthening the tourism sector, it is important that the council members and the public be updated on the current situation.
Proposed Resolution:
The Council Chair will present to the Council members at the next regular Council meeting an updated status regarding the following points:
A. Completion of the development of public spaces in the residential area
B. Status of plans filed and building permits for the commercial and tourism complexes
c. Status of the submitted plan for expanding the ecological corridor
